The Irish Equine Centre (IEC) extends our sincere gratitude to DAFM for their financial support, which enabled us to carry out important research on equine health.

This study focused on comparing the effectiveness of two commercially available rapid antigen detection (RAD) kits for detecting rotavirus in clinical samples from foals. Our findings contribute to improving diagnostic accuracy and supporting the health and well-being of young horses.

We appreciate DAFM’s commitment to advancing equine research and diagnostics.
