The Microbiology laboratory is a DAFM approved and INAB accredited laboratory for the detection of Salmonella and enumeration of E. coli in compost and digestate samples. This testing is required to demonstrate that the composting or digestion process has been sufficient to reduce the bacterial load in the starting material.
