Milk Residue Testing

Antibiotic residues in milk can happen for a number of reasons such as failure to identify treated cows, failure to observe correct withholding periods or, occasionally, through contamination of feed or water.

The Residues laboratory at the IEC can test for antibiotic residues in milk using a range of different methods.
