Piroplasmosis (ELISA)

Piroplasmosis (Babesia caballi and Theileria equi) is a tick borne parasitic infection tested for by ELISA serology. It presents with pyrexia, depression and loss of appetite 10-20 days post infection, followed by anaemia, constipation and jaundice.
